Route Description
RUSA Route #3060 "Snoqualmie Valley Trail Gravel Run Populaire"
This route features railroad-grade smooth packed gravel and lovely views (weather permitting) on Snoqualmie Valley Trail (gravel) from Duvall to Rattlesnake Lake and back. Riders have reported using their default 28mm road tires without issue. Use whatever works best for you. There are plenty of services slightly off-route in Carnation, Snoqualmie, and North Bend. Pit toilets are availabe at the Rattlesnake Lake turn-around. For control times, we are making use of
RUSA's Gravel Initiative which adds one minute per unpaved kilometer.

Parking
Free parking is available at the Duvall Park & Ride (
16011 Main St NE, Duvall, WA). Free on-street parking is also available, but try to avoid parking in front of businesses.
Food
In the spirit of self-supported randonneuring and keeping ride fees to a minimum, food and drinks are not provided by the club for the Winter Rouleur Series during the ride. Bring your own food and beverages. Food & services are noted on the route. In the spirit of Seattle International Randonneurs, group appetizers will be provided at the finish for registered riders!

Registration includes signing a responsibility waiver using the same SmartWaiver system used for RUSA Permanents. YOU MUST SUBMIT A COMPLETED WAIVER IN ORDER TO START THE RIDE. No waiver, no ride, no exceptions.

General Rules
All riders must:
- Have current memberships in RUSA and SIR.
- Read and sign a waiver (part of the online event registration) before beginning the ride.
- Comply with local traffic laws as well as RUSA's Rules for Riders.
- Have front and rear lights, a reflective vest or sash, and reflective ankle bands. See RUSA Article 10 for details. Be prepared to show these to the ride organizer at the start. Lights should be on during any low-light conditions (rain, fog, night, tunnels, etc).
- Contact the organizer ASAP if they cannot finsih (DNF). The organizer's contact info may be found on the brevet control card.
- Turn in their signed brevet control card at the ride finish.
- Check-in with the organizer or a volunteer at the start, the finish, at any overnight controls.
