Spring 600K Brevet (ACP) 6/3/2017

Ferry – Beach – Ferry 600K

Cue sheet posted

Ride Summary:
The "Ferry – Beach – Ferry 600K" (emphasis on the second syllable in Ferry, rhymes with Paree) starts in Bainbridge and rides out over Hood Canal Bridge down to Coyle on Toandos Penninsula, then around to Quilcene and down the Hood Canal to cross South of Olympic Mountains stopping at Matlock Store out to Moclips and back to overnight in Elma (410 km).  Roads will be the usual Olympic mix of gourmet chipseal and pavement - except for a stretch of gravel road (not trail) near the Wynoochie. Heads back over Tahuya Hills to Bainbridge. Total elevation may be close to half of PBP with Mt. Walker the only “mountain pass”.

A final cue sheet and trip advisory will be published the weeks before the ride

May bring drop bag - however keep in mind that you will need to carry your bag from  the Motel on Bainbridge to ferry  and limited car space for transport to Elma overnight.
