WTS 1: Redmond - Carnation - Union Hill - January 9, 2016 - DELAYED START TO NOON!

This is the first of this year's eight Winter Training Series rides. As last year we will start the ride at Element Cycles in Redmond and goes up Novelty Hill, through Trilogy, Old Woodinville-Duval Rd and into Carnation where we will take a break at Sandy’s Espresso and then return over Tolt and Union Hills (look for some surprises here) to Redmond for some hot cider and cookies at Element Cycles.  The bright afternoon sunshine is a mixed blessing!  Clear skies promise a colder night than anticipated with the strong possibility of fog.  Hence we are concerned that there may be icy conditions from seeps, puddles or frozen fog early tomorrow morning.  It’s supposed to dip down to 28o tonight and not be above freezing until 10:00AM or so.  So we are postponing the start time of tomorrow’s first Winter Training Series Ride to 12:00 noon from Elements Cycles in Redmond.

Again, please do pre-register to make the sign in process so much smoother.  (See previous email for directions.)

In the unlikely scenario that it gets even colder or warms up even more slowly, check back here for last minute update.
