Bellingham 'Big Ring' 200K (ACP)

E-mail

Come out and ride the Bellingham  “Big Ring 200km”. There are NO epic climbs, and only around 3000 feet of total climbing over the course. Some may ride this without using a small ring. You’ll enjoy scenic views and roads well suited for fast cruising.

The course will wander around north Whatcom county on many quiet roads. You’ll visit Sumas, Everson, Blaine, Birch Bay, the Lummi shore and Lynden. The maximum altitude will barely tickle 300 feet so the risk of snow is minimized.

The BBR 200km will start and finish at the organizer Dan Turner’s house east of Bellingham out in Whatcom county. The start time is 8:30AM to allow riders from down south to join in the fun and still get their beauty sleep. At the finish we’ll have food and refreshments.

While we anticipate some riders will set personal records and finish with plenty of daylight, those that expect to finish after 7 PM should have required lights and reflective gear.
