2012 Brevet Week 400K - Brown's Canyon and Pot Holes

E-mail

Come and join the Seattle International Randonneurs for the 2012 Northwest Crank Brevet Week!

A ride up  the Columbia River from East Wenatchee to Brown's Canyon and then a trip to Pot Holes.

Ride Summary:

This ride is going to ROCK!  It is a combination of 2 amazing permanents.  The first 100K is the NW Crank Browns Canyon ride (Perm 0863.) A ride up the Columbia River on US-97, then up Brown's Canyon (dirt), over to Waterville (don't miss the Coyote Pass Cafe), then up to Badger Mountain, then a screaming descent back to East Wenatchee. A great start to the ride ride.

Next you will get to enjoy Permanent 0809 - The Pot Holes 300K!  This is a stellar ride to the Pot Holes reservoir offering some great Eastern Washington views and topography.  This section only has 1500 feet of climbing but there is potential for WIND!

NOTE: Don't bring skinny tires!!! There is a fair amount of dirt on this ride!

About 6,000 feet of climbing

Organizer: Stuart Lee, Suzanne NowlisGreg Cox
