The 200K route will start in Arlington along the wonderful WA-530 towards Darrington. The Mountain Loop Highway is then ridden for a bit of gravel adventure (14 miles of it!) over Barlow Pass (2, 361 ft). Wider tires are recommended for some of the looser gravel sections, but most of it is hard packed dirt. Riders will head down south to Lake Roesiger via Granite Falls and catch the Centennial Trail in Machias. Enjoy the lack of traffic all the way back to Arlington for some cold drinks and high fives.
Make sure that you ride in circles around the 600K riders to let them know how much better you feel after having had a full night's sleep. They will appreciate it.
