Thank you for your interest in the 2016 Cascade 1200+!!

There are some exciting updates for 2016 including:

  • An all new (and longer!) route!  The final distance is expected to be close to 1285km, with an extended time limit to accommodate that distance.
  • Two start options:  1) a Friday night start for “full value” riders who want the entire time limit to complete the event, or 2) a Saturday morning start most appropriate for riders who chose the 80 or 84hr starts at PBP, or who regularly finish long brevets in the top quartile. Saturday morning starters will be required to maintain a slightly higher average speed and will have a time limit approximately 6 hours shorter than the Friday night starters.
  • All hotel accommodations!  No overnight controls in jr. high schools, sleeping on gym floors, and showers that are warmish at best.  All three overnight controls will be at motels or lodges and food will be professionally catered.

Please review the links in the menu bar above for preliminary information on the event.

The organizers are hard at work on the details and will update route and registration information as it becomes available.  We appreciate your patience.

In the meantime, please bookmark this page and check back often for updates.
